Rosemary's Web Site

Hey guys!

Here is my web site. It definitely isn't in the pretty stage. Have a good weekend! : )

Rosemary,

The design you chose is really sleek. It is understated, yet professional. I am hoping you will add a link to a blank "Things to Remember" sheet in the section you mention the resource. That will be good reinforcement at home. I did notice that the word "Parents" did not fit into the corresponding yellow box.

Good luck in your year... July 26th seems to be such an early time for meet the teacher!

Very neat and easy to read. Ditto on Patrick's comment about the text fitting in the box. Other than that, looks great!

Rosemary, It's the parents link at the top - one with tan background - last one in the row of navigation links - the tan background isn't as wide as the link. I'll help you fix it! You'll see I commented on it too in my detailed feedback I emailed to you.

Rosemary,

Your web site is well done! You provide excellant tools for research with lots of options for students. I also really liked the links to the separte subjects (reading, writing, math, etc.). Nice organization! Great communication to both students and parents with your "Management Plan." My suggestion to you is to perhaps make a link on your Parent's page for some specifics about the Writing Test. It seems as though parents get all ancy about that big test when their children enter the 4th grade and something as simple as letting parents know that this Writing Test is a state requirement and will happen on the first Tuesday in March (is that right?), and that you will work very hard this year to prepare students for it, blah, blah, blah...this might be good to address.
Great Job!!
**By the way, I'll let you use that Dr. Seuss picture from my website...I created it and have it saved on my flashdrive.

It is fun to look at your website now. Your initial comment is that it isn't pretty, but it has become great to look, easy to navigate and this will become a great resource for your students.
