You are going to love this!

NY Times Learning Network

This site is wonderful for upper elementary through high school. Go to the site and in the left menu follow the link to Lesson Plan Archive. If your class is researching a topic, you would enter that topic and find a lesson plan that correlates to that subject. WAIT, it gets better!

Then skim through the lesson for articles that are related to that topic. When you follow the link to the article you will turn on the knowledge tools at the top of the article in the yellow and green tool box. Once you have done that, the article will provide students with a definition for difficult vocabulary and a map for geography terms.

I'm LOVING it! :)

This is a great site from Discovery TV.

Looking for good sites

Hi everyone! If you have any good educational sites for writing, reading, science or math--please share. I am trying to build a resource list.

Great Web Site!

Check out this web site about nursery rhymes. We took the nursery rhyme quiz this morning in our children's literature class. It was fun!
